The Fleet IT Manager role for Centerline Logistics is responsible for planning, deploying, securing, and maintaining information technology systems across the company’s fleet of vessels and vehicles. This role serves as the primary point of ownership for fleet-based IT systems, ship-to-shore connectivity, and fleet technology standards. The Fleet IT Manager works closely with shoreside IT, vessel operations, vendors, and crews to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant technology services that support safe and efficient maritime operations.
The Application Manager role for Centerline Logistics is responsible for the oversight, support, and lifecycle management of enterprise business applications across the organization. This role ensures applications are reliable, secure, well-documented, and aligned with business processes. The Application Manager serves as the primary point of ownership for key systems, partners with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, and supports application strategy, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department on all personnel and HR matters. Provides prompt customer services and communications to internal and external individuals. Requirements for this job change frequently with changing priorities.
Provides support to the Corporate Controller, CFO, and Accounting Department on all matters including daily operations, expense reports, and general clerical, maintenance, and logistical duties.
This position will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Vetting, Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) Department and will play a key role in supporting the company’s efforts to maintain vessel compliance with customer and regulatory vetting requirements. The role will assist in managing inspection data, tracking compliance milestones, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely clearance of vessels for commercial service.
Assist with the daily operations of Centerline Logistics accounts payable cycle through daily processing of invoices, batch postings, vendor communication, filing, etc. Assist with the month-end process and various close procedures.
Schedule, coordinate, and perform vessel repair & maintenance, coordinate purchasing of parts and repair services and supplies, schedule routine maintenance requirements for tugs and barges. Perform inspections of vessels for repair & maintenance standards and procedures. Keep tugs and barges in compliance with all regulatory agencies. Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed using company software program.
Maintain the vessel's engine room and equipment in a state of readiness to perform work for customers as needed. Perform start up and shut down, troubleshooting, and heavy maintenance of vessel power and propulsion systems. This job includes pulling heavy lines and hoses, working on oil and cargo barges, general vessel maintenance, and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Perform work as directed by Captain and/or Mate of vessel.
Deliver supplies to vessels, coordinate all shipping and receiving, and organize and track inventory. There will be other duties assigned by shoreside staff.
The Olympic Tug & Barge (OTB) Crewing Coordinator organizes all aspects of crew changes.
The Regional Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Safety Advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance of and providing support to Centerline Logistics Health, Safety & Environmental Programs.
Welding, along with general maintenance and repair on boats and barges at shop facility as required.
Responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of petroleum products between barges, ships, and facilitiesincluding completion of bills of lading and gauge reports.
Maintain the vessels in a state of readiness to perform work for customers as needed. Perform work as directed by Captain and/or Mate of vessel and assist Engineer as requested. Job includes pulling and handling heavy lines, wires, and hoses; working on oil and cargo barges; safely making and breaking tow with barges; general vessel maintenance; and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Manage all aspects of Environmental compliance for Centerline Logistics and subsidiaries.

Prepare and serve meals for vessel crew. Job includes pulling and handling heavy lines, wires, and hoses; working on oil and cargo barges; safely making and breaking tow with barges; general vessel maintenance; and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Responsible for the efficient and safe execution of vessel assignments and the safety of the assigned vessel(s), cargo, and crew. Required to perform administrative and supervisory functions. Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of tug and barge.
Responsible for the safe transportation of the assigned barge(s) and for the safety of the cargo, vessel(s) and crew. Responsible for safe docking of ships, (when applicable). Required to perform administrative and supervisory functions. Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of tug and barge.
Acts as third in command of the tug. Must be able to understand and carry out the orders and directions of the Captain. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: cargo pumps, assist in operating tank/pipeline valves, operate manual and hydraulic booms. Must be prepared to assume command in the event of incapacity of the Captain.
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for purchasing at Centerline Logistics and subsidiaries. The Purchasing Agent is responsible to find the best goods or services, choose suppliers, and negotiate prices. May be required to travel to other ports as necessary.
