Monitor the condition and maintain CLA coastal and inland barges. Provide information to Engineering team to develop & maintain capital expenditure budget for the barge fleet, oversee repair & maintenance of equipment, manage purchasing and inventory levels. Develop work scope packages and oversee dry dockings. Monitor compliance of all documentation & regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned by Management.
Acts as second in command of the tug and barge. Must be able to understand and carry out the orders and directions of the Captain. The job responsibilities include loading and discharging multi-cargo barges. Must be prepared to assume command in the event of incapacity of the Captain. Responsible for safely making and breaking tow with barges, handling lines, and wires.
The Barge Operations Supervisor will be responsible for all Tankerman activities, training, transfer inspections, audits, evaluations and assignments.
The Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous materials (including waste) in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those set by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The driver will operate vehicles to deliver hazardous waste to disposal or treatment sites while ensuring the safety of themselves, the public, and the environment.
As Tankerman Supervisor you will be responsible for manned and un-manned tankerman activities, training, transfer inspections, audits, evaluations and assignments from the Director of USEC Operations and CLA Barge Operations Supervisor.
Maintain the vessel's engine room and equipment in a state of readiness to perform work for customers as needed. Perform start up and shutdown and routine monitoring of vessel power and propulsion systems. Job includes pulling heavy lines and hoses, working on oil and cargo barges, general vessel maintenance, and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Perform work as requested by Captain and/or Mate of vessel.

The Regional Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance of and providing support to Northern & Southern California Health, Safety, and Environmental Programs.
Schedule, optimize and coordinate Centerline vessel movements according to customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain records and process paperwork to ensure proper billing. Maintain communications with vessel Captains and barge PIC’s regarding change of orders. Assist in developing and monitoring procedures and programs to track company and crew activities.
Responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of petroleum products between barges, ships, and facilities including completion of bills of lading and gauge reports.
General clerical assistance to the Centerline Atlantic office and other departments as needed.
Directly supervise, hire, train and evaluate marine personnel. Conduct Tug Inspections, attend SIRE inspections, and conduct evaluations and navigation audits of Deck Officers via direct observations on board. Develop marine operations and cost control programs for vessels. Assist in new project development, interfacing with customers, etc. Assist in vessel scheduling of personnel as required. Produce weekly Operations reports.
Responsible for supporting hiring efforts and recruiting initiatives through full-cycle recruitment. Works with recruiting team and various hiring managers to achieve staffing objectives through evaluating and vetting candidates.
Perform routine maintenance requirements on a fleet of tugs and barges as directed by the General Manager/Port Engineer. Perform inspections of vessels for repair & maintenance standards and procedures. Work with company mechanics as needed.

Provide support to the Engineering Department through the management and maintenance of various enterprise-level systems. This role involves administrative and project-based assistance as needed. The ideal candidate will be detailed, have experience keeping large amounts of data organized and accurate, and be able to work independently.
